Option 1 — Disconnect a platform, or request full deletion
Signed in at app.dathent.ai? Open Settings → Connected accounts to disconnect any social platform at any time — this immediately revokes the access tokens Dathent stored for that platform.
To delete your entire Dathent account and all associated data, send the request in Option 2 below. Once processed, personally identifiable data is purged from active databases within 24 hours, and backups containing your data are overwritten within 30 days.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you cannot access your account (e.g., lost credentials, account locked, or you connected via a social account that you no longer have access to), email us directly:
Subject: Data deletion request
Include: the email address used to sign up, or the connected social account handle (e.g., @your_instagram).
We confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR Article 17 (Right to erasure) and CCPA Section 1798.105.
What we delete
On deletion request we remove:
- Your profile (name, email, password hash, language preference, timezone)
- All connected social accounts (Instagram, Threads, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Telegram) and their cached access tokens
- All posts, drafts, generated content, carousels, and brand profiles you created
- All scheduled posts and publishing history records
- Generated media (images, captions) stored in our object storage
- Conversation history with the AI Assistant
- Usage analytics tied to your user ID
Legal retention exceptions
A small subset of data is retained for a limited period after deletion when required by law:
- Billing records: 7 years (EU tax law / Czech accounting requirements). Contains transaction amounts, invoice numbers, and partial card identifiers (last 4 digits) — no full card numbers are ever stored.
- Anti-abuse logs: 90 days, anonymised (IP hashes only, no user identifiers).
After these periods expire, all retained records are automatically purged.
Meta data-deletion callback
If you originally signed in to Dathent via Facebook or Instagram and removed Dathent from your Facebook account's Settings & Privacy → Apps and Websites, Meta automatically notifies our servers. We treat such notifications as a deletion request for the corresponding Dathent account and process it under the same 30-day timeline described above.
You do not need to take additional action — disconnecting Dathent from Meta is sufficient. You will receive an email confirmation at the address on file when deletion completes.
